MY view:

I bought this slicer and grater for only one purpose of making potato chips and Finger Chips. In Maharashtra, in the summer seasons , the ladies get together and make these kind of chips and papads. However there are literally 6 settings but i found only 4 were useful.There are two settings for chips thick and thin , and two for finger chips thick and thin.however if you are interested in making chips using this product, this is a very good products, the blade on this product is very sharp, watch out for your hand. There is a Holder which comes along with this product which you can use while making these chips or finger chips, however i did not use it, it has 5 thin nails which hold the potato or the thing you are trying to slice or grate in place. I did not use it, however i think if used logically it removes the fear of getting cuts on your finger.The body of this product is made of plastic, but is not that sturdy, however it is good for daily use, for making those onion rings, you always wanted.

i would rate it 4 /5 , one point was taken because of not that sturdy body.

I your use is confined to slicing and grating of vegetables like onion, carrot and potato , this is the slicer for you.
